George Tannous, MD
Dr. George Tannous joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2014. Dr. Tannous completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati, his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland. As a fellow, Dr. Tannous developed an interest in neurogastroenterology, motility studies, and inflammatory bowel disease. He is Director of the GI Motility program at RGA.
Dr. Tannous is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society.
Dr. Tannous is an active member of the medical staff at UW Health Swedish American Hospital and OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
